Recently I’ve been picked as a finalist for BODYGLIDE‘s Real World campaign based on my experience with its products. The campaign features a testimonial video for which I will be shooting soon. This is an exciting news because I’ve never been in a video before! To share my joy in a slightly exaggerated celebration, I decide to host my first-ever giveaway here. With the help of Kathryn from BODYGLIDE, I’m able to send out a few of their best-selling products to the lucky winners of this giveaway.
What is BODYGLIDE?
In short, BODYGLIDE makes skin lubricant products that help prevent and relieve chafed skin. The Original Anti-chafe balm is a no-mess, non-greasy formula that comes in a stick much like a typical deodorant stick. I’ve been using the original balm since my first encounter with chafing years ago, shortly after I began running regularly. For those of you who have never experienced the excruciating agony which accompanies chafing, consider yourself lucky. Because it is truly the last thing you want when you’re out there huffing and puffing. I have been forced to stop running one time when my thighs were badly chafed. By the way, some people so use this on their feet to prevent blisters – although I don’t find this especially helpful in my experience.
BODYGLIDE
In addition to running, I use it from time to time under my regular clothes to protect my skin. Besides the original balm, the prize packs of this giveaway will also include the Anti-chafe Balm for Her (scented version of the original formula), and the WarmFX Anti-pain Balm. Keep in mind the WarmFX balm doesn’t prevent chafing. It’s a pain-relieving menthol balm (for muscles and joints) that’s similar to Ultra Strength BENGAY (menthol and methyl salicylate being active ingredients). I’ve been trying out the WarmFX for the past week; and I’m happy to report that it works as advertised. For more info, be sure to check out BODYGLIDE’s official website.
I strongly believe in honesty and transparency. I’d like everyone to know that all opinions expressed here are strictly personal. Besides the giveaway prizes and 2 sample sticks of WarmFX, I have not received any monetary compensation from BODGYGLIDE.
Prizes
2 winners will be chosen to receive one prize pack each (approx. $28 MSRP). Each prize pack includes the following 3 items:
The Original Anti-chafe Balm (1.3oz)
BODYGLIDE Anti-chafe for Her (0.8 oz)
WarmFX Anti-pain Balm (1.3 oz)

It depends on my activity. If I’m running around a water park, oh, my goodness, my thighs have issues. If I’m running, I chafe right under my boobs.

Sadly, we are a family of chafers. (not sure that’s a word!) We’ve tried a lot of things to help but most are lacking!

I live in Texas and am training for my first couch to 5K run in October. Chafing is horrible and the crazy extremes in weather we’ve been having only makes it worse.

I live in the south so the heat and humidity causes me to chafe a lot worse. Body Glide helps me so much with this during our hot summers.
